  • Returning Visitors

    If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

    If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Great photos again!

First, let me say Redman (Dave), does the reflection thing so well....

However, my top two favorites are Rich82GS750T2's and Trevor's. Both for the same reason. Both of these pictures have wonderful diagonal lines.

Rich, you have the two roads and the two fences coming from the sides, and right to point in front of you, very nice. I once had an instructor tell me that if find yourself at the corner of two intersecting lines, you can find a picture.

Trevor, yours has the two diagonal lines, the road and the pumpkins, coming from the bottom corners to the back left, behind your bike.

Both pictures take you your eyes right to the subject.

I am voting for Trevor, because of one thing. That loud mouth pumpkin, (upper row, third from right). He pulls me right in the picture, and from there I go right down the row to the bike.
 
Cool harvest and Halloween pics this week. My wife likes DB's skeleton poker game because the colors all seem to coordinate.

For me it's a toss up between Kerrfunk and Gustovh. I'm voting for Gostovh. Just a fun/ creepy photo.
 
Tough call this week. All great entries. I'm split between Trevor, an Baatfam... Just really love the bikes. Coin flip says, it's Trevor for my vote...
 
I'm going with Kerfunk. I get a feeling of someone who had a little fun setting up the scene.......
 
Redman with the airbox reflection is my favourite this week.
Although my choice may have been affected by too much Halloween candy.

Well gang, I'm gonna call it.

I have not seen a contest with more than 14 votes, and we have a pretty clear winner already.

kerrfunk, dorkburger, and Rich82GS750TZ all got one vote each
Redman received two (and Redman, I didn't see a vote from you, and I know you're not available this morning)
gustovh received two votes, or three, if his "I like my picture" is considered a vote for himself.

and trevor received five.

If somebody thinks it's premature to call it, then say so, but we have thirteen votes in, and it would take another three to overturn trevor.
Steve, I know you submitted a picture and didn't vote, but again, it would take two or three to overturn trevor.

Good theme, dorkburger. I like the submissions, although selfishly I wish the theme had been either Halloween or harvest and not both, but it's a game and we're all having fun and that is all that matters.

Mostly I just removed excess pixels from the top, bottom, and a little from the left side. To my eye, they really weren't helping to tell the story.

Doesn't make one better than the other, but it is fun to make different photos, from the same photo.:D

How about a pic at "dusk"....I don't think we have done this....

This was taken about 4 years ago on the way home from the pnw gs rally that was held at Sandy's home in Cranbrook BC...

This was taken on my descent into Osoyoos BC....I always stop here for a pic....This was on my 1983 GS1100E...cheers
