A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Pic of the week game

I?ve been sucking at this lately. I have a water pic that fits the bill, but I don?t love it. I may try to take one this week if things calm down at work and home. Hot weather means busy work days, then things fall behind at home....

Not sure what you had in mind for the sky but I thought I'd see what a change might look like. I only spent about five minutes on it but an additional twenty or so minutes would solve the gaps in the trees....... { Oops I see I used the wrong picture }

I was thinking of clouds or something else interesting. Just thought a few fluffy white clouds would break up that big hunk of sky.

Tried a few different skies I had on my machine, but none of them matched well.

Need clouds? I got lots of clouds. LOL. What I needed was more time to add the reflection in the lake. Maybe later, always like a challenge.
This was an edit of Garth's edit.

Man you guys are good with photo editing. Clouds are a nice touch. How about maybe an eagle snatching a fish from the water in the background?

Just kidding around.

Very good. You did much better on the edge refinement along the trees, than I could. I couldn't get it even close, but I am learning a new program, ON1. Switching over from lightroom/photoshop.

Not me...Although I have tried working with layers before, I just started working seriously with them this year.

But I do know people that could add your eagle with dinner...:D

Lot of great pics this week. Going to be a tough decision.

By the time we finish screwing with this picture it's going to be a Harley in a corn field........

I cheated, I used Garth's edit so really he did the edge edit. Edges like that one can be a time consuming pain. I'll have to check out ON1.

Here is my entry for photo of the week. It's from earlier this year when I was in Florida. Beautiful white sand beaches meeting the Golf of Mexico.

LOL...This reminds me of a game they play on one of my photo forums. An unprocessed picture is provided, (both RAW and JPG), and everyone does the post processing on it.
The finish pictures are posted and the winner from the last one, judges the new ones.

Here is the link to their 399th challenge. https://www.mu-43.com/threads/post-processing-challenge-399-closed-winners-announced.99015/

People get quite creative...

Think i have this sorted out now, so i will try again.
I took the pic, i still own the bike and the pic has not been altered.

Along side the Niagara River at the boat lauch in Queenston, Ontario. Other side of the river is Lewiston, NY.

Nice.
The pics in this thread need not be current, nor do you need to currently own the cycle pictured, as long as you owned it when the picture was made.

Some of of us are using "file pics? from times gone by. Personally it?s given me an excuse to ride down memory lane a bit.
