Pic of the week game

GUJgyE7.jpg

Dwight, Illinois. Off route 66. It's 5 stories tall, and was built in 1896 to pump water for some rich slobs estate, lol...

Happy Friday Morning GSR!!! Only 9 entries this week, but some really nice photos.

First, the theme of the week from Jedz123:

...green power this week...wind mill or solar field or hydropower damn.

That should be all. Let me know if I missed any.

Don't forget to vote.

I need to mention Spyder's pic. Probably his strongest submission todate. (that I remember anyway)

Trevors pic is interesting in that the wind turbins are lined up kinda like the bikes and the people are lined up.

And I like bob baatfam, step-way-back-zoom-in-on-the-distant-thing-so-it-fills-the-background. The picture frame is filled with the intersting aspect of the dam, and went to effort to include the bike (or portion). All the other folks that were there probably got out of their car, walked away from thier car, an took a picture that included the entire dam - boring.

BUt the picture that is the most impressive is Jedz.
Voting for Jedz. Interesting how the windmill is in silloutte and can see most of the tower. Intersting how the windmill is a small element in the pic in terms of size, but is a major point in terms of the attention it draws, eyes keep comming back to it. I suspect the coloration is not entirely what was present there on that occasion, but voting for the pic as nicely arranged-composed. And voting to help celebrate his wedding day har har har. Well, celebrate .... or taking opportunity to cause him trouble (what are friends for anyway).

Ditto all that Dave said. Also voting for Jedz123. Love this pic. I also want to see him win and explain to his bride that he'll be late for the wedding because he has to go riding and get a pic for next week's theme.:devilish:
Seriously, congrats on the nuptials J. Wish you the best.

Morning all,
I have some things going on that have kept me away as of late..

Voting for marvinsc. Love that misy morning background.

. . . . . . . . . . . I also want to see him win and explain to his bride that he'll be late for the wedding because he has to go riding . . . . . .

Would we be surprised ? ? if he was already intending to be riding to the ceremony?? or away?? or each person in the wedding party riding one of his bikes??
Then think of the picture topic-theme he could have! ! har har har

har har har
I am just joking around.
Am not campaigning for Jedz pic this week.
Ya'll vote for the pic you like as best picture.

Voting for Trevor this week. Looks like a fun day. Funny how nearly all riders are taking pictures of the wind generators.

Lol...yes it was a "photo op" for sure....we had lots of guys that had never seen so many of those wind generators in one spot before.

I too must vote for Jedz. Just a really nice picture. You could hang that on a wall in your living room, and nobody would question why. But I bet some would ask ABOUT it... Nice shot Jedz...

It's almost unfair as that TU250x is one of the most photogenic bikes around, and the composition and lighting take it over the top.+1 for Jedz.

honourable mention to marvinsc

Marvinsc gets my vote! I think I was at that dam in West Virginia. Isn't it up the road from the "Fanciest Dairy Queen?" It was during my first GSR rally, the last West Virginia rally Depep organized. I was on that blue BMW. I was on my way to the Outer Banks. That was fun! 🌞
