Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Pic of the week game

Happy Friday gents.
To my eye, Burque's, Trevor's, and Redman's shots are standouts. Really a close call for me. I was leaning toward Trevor's pic... until Redman posted his entry, which gets my vote. Its one of those images that can be interpreted as a haunting image or one of serenity depending on the viewers mood... I can picture myself sitting at that boat launch in the fog drinking a morning coffee and enjoying the peace of the moment. Dave, I consider that a frameworthy image. Beautiful, moody, and simple.

Dave Redman for me too. That’s a wall hanger right there. I’d actually be proud to hang a bunch of this weeks pics on my wall. Well done gents.

Mr. Baatfam this week cuz that feeling coming out of the burnout box and staging is so metal.

Several great photos this week.
But, I was fairly certain when it went up, that I was voting for Redman's (Dave's) photo.
So much goodness.

The balance between the spindly trees and the bike.
The reflection of the trees in the water.
The detail in the foreground.
The almost B&W look.

I could quibble that maybe...maybe...just maybe, if the bike was angled into the photo, instead of out...maybe slightly better...

But man...I like that photo....

Let me add, that there is a part of me that knows I would never park like that, at least without help nearby.
Because one way or another, me or the bike, or both, are falling in the water...LOL....:D

And, let me thank Roger for the excellent, wide open theme this week...
Exactly what I enjoy, flexible and open to interpretation, so we can focus on the photo.
Way more fun than typical tags like, "Your bike with a watermelon.":)

I'm voting for dpep. I remember that storm that Don was caught in. I was planning the same ride to Cranbrook. But I decided to go to the Ozark rally instead, then on to Colorado. I didn't catch to much of the rain, but it was cold. I took the southern route home! 🌞

Another vote for Dave (Redman), great shot as are most of this week's entries.

Another tough one. Lot of really good shots. I love the smell of burning rubber. Love thrill of the drag, so Baatfam it is for me this week...

Hey, I live next to a 5,000 foot tall watermelon so even that may be a fun one. Sandia (watermelon in Spanish) mountain towers over Albuquerque.

Hard to choose a pic this week. Coin flip between Gustovh and Dorkburger. I like the rays of sunlight through the fog/ haze.

Dorkburger for me this week.

I'm in for Redman. I was ready to vote as soon as he posted that pic.
Great theme, Roger. Great entries!

Same dilemma for me. I really liked the muted sun topping the scene in Trevor's. But I also will have to go with Redman. The different elements just blend perfectly into the whole.
...

Going to have to with dpep's mainly because of the story and knowing what lurked behind that wall of crap. Too bad you had to turn back, you were only a long day ride from my place but you had the continental divide to cross and that would have been truly miserable and dangerous on a motorcycle. West of the divide the weather was great but a little cold according to some.

Dork, Trevor, and mine got my attention as being about the fog/mist. Burque s some too. Baatfam is interesting.

vote for Trevor.
