If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Pic of the week game

Getting late on Thursday so I guess I better post something up. Got to playing with my Argus C3 35mm “Brick” today to see if I could get my iPhone to focus through any of its lenses. My entry is taken with the iPhone through the left rear viewfinder lens on the back of the Argus. Extensive post/digital magic has been done to achieve a moderately interesting photo.
My entry:

This was a fun theme. Thanks Gustovh!

Steve Murdoch's reminds me of an album cover. Pink Floyd maybe? Primus? Not sure. Maybe something I've seen at a concert under the influence of certain substances.

Speaking of concerts, looking at my pic I think if Neal Peart rode a Suzuki, his drum kit may have looked something like this.

I'm going with Baatfam's fisheye lens shot. Kinda reminds me of a spaceship. Fun image.

Hum, I now see the stated theme is not “looking thru unusual lens”, is “unusual lens”.
Just that gustovs description of his sample pic (entry) talked about looking thru something, and using that something as an unusual lens.

so, I need to ponder some more.

i can see that one or two pics Had nothing for unusual lens, but did use some other technique to produce some distortion.

Need to ponder more.

All are interesting images. All are unique. All are successful in their own way. A vote for each seems reasonable.
So this week an abstention from voting here.

Multiple of the images are great. All for different reasons. Can’t find any one criteria to use as a tie breaker.

dorks is interesting good image, kept my attention , can’t tell if looking thru something of a lens or if a reflection.

Bob baatfam great photograph (as usual) , this time using such a wide angle (edge of light looks further away than center) that it is unusual lens. Yah, the fisheye lens makes the bikes headlights look bug eye.

dpep & marvinsc & rich had my attention too.

but vote for gustov for the way the distortion looked like a speed/motion blurr , but mostly on half the image so other half gave good view of situation. And that he thought to do such without prompting of this challenge.

This is a tough one; I am not sure what criteria I should be using. But Rich has the one I would be most apt to hang on my wall. It looks like a nice watercolor painting. It gets my vote.
...

Wow. I’ve got it at a 4 way tie. Can someone confirm?

marvinsc 2
Steve Murdoch 2
dorkburger 2
Baatfam 2
Rich82GS750TZ 1
gustovh 1

If you need a tie breaker I vote for mr. Baatfam and it's for purely sophomoric reasons.

Indeed, yes, nice pair Bob. That’ll do it.

Well, I'll never look at that Trophy the same, after this...LOL...Thanks guys!

OK...wasn't prepared for a win.
Let me get my turkey in the oven, (kids coming over today), pour a bourbon, and think of something...
