DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Pic of the week game

Glenn's pic is spectacular but I have to vote for Dave (redman) just for the Testicular fortitude it took to get that bike in that position and back again without an "Aquatic" incident.........:-)

So many winners this week. I'll go with noreg. I can put myself easily in that scene,

. . . . . ...
Anyway, how about DOWN BY THE RIVER. I'll post a pic later.

Good theme-topic. Got lots of participation, and all good pics of the theme-topic.

Speaking of participation; you didnt get in a submission.
Maybe too busy making pizza.

I'm going to vote for Sandy this week. Nice motorcycle in a beautiful setting.
What a nice selection of pictures to choose from. I had my doubts about the subject I chose. I'm happy it got all the participants that it did. You fellows are the best! 👍

Happy Saturday Morning! Tally time!

I count two votes each for Noreg and Redman
Three votes for Dorburger
Four votes for Trevor

And with five votes, Sandy!

If I could get a confirmation please?

I can confirm that count.
And also add that the last vote broke the 4-4 tie.

Congrats, Sandy. What fun do you have for us this week?
(we can wait for you to hike back down from some mountain.)

Thanks for votes everyone. I'm not sure this photo actually qualifies as the parts aren't actually attached to the bike at this time but I can reshoot something if it doesn't pass the mustard. Anyway theme for the week will be "Bits and Pieces'. Let's see what you got. FYI the carbs in the tray are a set of VM28s from a 1979 european "S". Thought I try them out.

................. Anyway theme for the week will be "Bits and Pieces'. .

Sandy, I would say that qualifies. I dont actually know if those are parts from your bike, but they look somewhat familiar to my limited GS experience (are some things there I see there different from what I have seen, but could be some other bike).
Stated Rule relative to having your bike in the picture say something about "or at least enough to meet that weeks criteria".

Oh, isn't any mechanism nor rule nor precedence to rule a picture as not meeting the criteria. I guess that is left to the decision of the voters.

. . . . . . . . . . Dave (redman) ...... to get that bike in that position and back again .........

Check stability of structure and integrity of planks first.
Then back down the incline (drag front brake), so then can ride back up under power.

Will admit that haven't done much of that in recent years. And not at all on the too-tall-RT.
