Deliberate anti-social activity including personal insults, profanity, pornography, racism, threats and purposely inflammatory posts may result in suspension of forum access or possibly a permanent ban from GSR.

    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Pic of the week game

Man... some great shots so far. I figured that instead of the usual pics of bikes in a scene, that making the bike the main subject was a nice change.

I agree with everything Glen said. I imagine the pic one submits for this weeks subject need to be a bike they currently own? In other words, it can't be a bike they used to own? Would that defeat the point of the game?

rule 7:
Any bike can participate... not only GS's (as long as it was yours when the pic was taken)

all the rules are in post #1 of this thread.

Copy that. Honestly Ritch I didn't know if that was a suggestion or a hard fast rule. Thank you for clearing that up for me.

Am not thinking of any shots "disconnected with reality", but I do have a few where I tried to get as bland as possible background to keep the attention on the bike. Like this one in August a few years (hot, hense why loweres off).

Well this picture is beautiful to me. The Ugly on a road trip in the Adirondack wilderness. No light, no cell phone, nobody.
I'm afraid none of my bikes are very pretty. I often wonder how you guys do it.

It just looks that way. My pic is just after the bikes yearly bath. I like the looks of yours.

And more...

Good turnout this week. 16 photos. Thanks everyone.
(It was a challenge figuring out who's photo was who's, and which photo to use, with all the extra quoting and chitchat...LOL)

Don't forget to vote, and as always, if anything is amiss, please let us know.

Mr. 650skull's Vstrom. Looks like a pic from a magazine ad. Redman was a very close 2nd for sure.

Steve murdoch's makes me smile.
650skull's is great.
I love the depth of field in burque's.
But Sandy's gets my vote for glamour shot.
