DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Pic of the week game

. . . . . . . . . in the same building. Here?s the History:

.
Hey, that is the place that has the original big old manaul elevator (that we have seen pictures of).

Hey, my town also has an old multistory brick manufacturing building downtown from early 1900s (Story & Clark piano factory) that is now a big brewery/coffeeshop and office spaces.

Not real old as far as heritage buildings can be. Far North Queensland historical cane barracks that housed Cane cutters when Cane was harvested by hand. Most are derelict these days but have seen a couple converted to dwellings. They had 4 bedrooms a open plan kitchen/dining room/lounge separate laundry with toilet and shower and a rainwater tank.

Historic "downtown" Cedar Run , Pa.
The buildings are leftovers from the lumbering boom in the late 1800s. The ice cream sign was preceded by an old porcelain enameled Mobil sign, as the store used to sell gas. The phone booth worked as of a few years ago. I have the number in my phone....

Please accept my vote for mr. d. burger. That's really nice. I could see me riding through that town on the way up into the hills.

Voting for Rich this week.

That's a cool looking place and a well composed photo. Great history too. If I ever make it up to Mifflinburg I'll have to stop at the brewery and try the Chonky Boi. With an 11% ABV maybe just one LOL.

Thanks,
Yeah, that Chonky Boi is a a$$ kicker. But the Wolf King Imperial Stout is my favorite.

I'm voting for dorkburger, I'm sure I've been to that town back in the early '90's. Time for another visit. I think it's near the PA Grand Canyon.
