Pic of the week game

Happy Friday Morning, GSR! Let's review these sketchy photos and vote!

First the theme by Rich:
Time to do some sketchy sh!t.

Don't forget to vote, and please let us know if anything is amiss...

Mr. Murdoch/s alligator clip wiring harness may be the sketchiest thing ever. That is my vote.

Dave's one-handed, head-turned selfie heading into a blind hard right-hander is some definite sketchy sh!t. Hope he got away with it. Redman gets my vote.

Dorkburger for me...it's got that certain tension of "don't-put-your-eye-out" disaster. But hard to choose-Mein gott! be careful :)- alligator clips? camera mount?-just the thing to fall off and need a hand when you shouldn't...

haha like the bead-breaker- I did this once using a loaded boat trailer to debead car tires and thought it might even bend the frame!

I must vote for mr. Dorkburger with mr. 650skull a very close 2nd.
This challenge truly shows that we're a bunch of mutants.

I figured this theme would be perfect for Gustovh and he didn't disappoint.
His bicycle framed/wood supported sidecar gets my vote.

A bunch of good ones. Very close between Dork's suicide trap and Funk's wheeeeelie king, that thing probably had the front wheel lifted while just cruising.... Got to go for Dorkburger, first his idea, then the use of that tiny cable.... Thank goodness he's still with us.

I'll go for Redman's selfie, If you look its not only on a blind corner, doub;e yellow line, but if some one tripped at that entrance way they would be under the wheel before you can say click

Good Morning, GSR! Let's take a tally...

With one vote each, steve murdoch and Gustovh
And with three votes each, for a three way tie, kerrfunk, Redman, and dorkburger....

Unless someone objects, I will break the tie today, because there is one photo that is totally sketchy for me....

I will vote for Redman's dang fool, crazy old man, sketchy photo.....
Every time I look at it, I see another bad thing...:p

Four votes for the win...Redman!! What's next Dave...

I affirm your count and tie-break.
Four votes for the win...Redman!! What's next Dave...
Congrats Dave!!

It was baffling, took me a minute to figure out why the front wheel was so wobbly. I remember thinking "I probably shouldn't continue" but I did. I didn't go as fast as the speed limit and I decided to kind of lean forward to improve traction a bit. Then when I got home I saw that the entire luggage rack had bent under the weight. Like a person sat on it. It was really sketchy, yeah.

THanks foir the tally and thanks for the vote.
I have slowed down on the sketchy stuff for a photo. Just the other day, you might have noticed, I took picture of bike next to a boat dock.... NEXT to a boat dock, not ON it, and it had a perfectly smooth transition onto the dock.

Again, I have nothing prepaired in advance for a potentail theme-of-the-week, and I am about to leave for a good part of the afternoon, so I can work up somthing later this aftgernoon, well, unless Dork or Kerry come up with something before then.

THanks Again

Yah, maybe you could have taken one of the 3 bags out, and lashed it to the handlebars to better distribute the weight.

Sounds good to me. I was out of town Friday into yesterday evening as well...

Regarding my “shocking” sketchy photo... those buckles are rated for 150-210 lbs, depending on the cable size used... I had two in use (one out of sight in that pic.)
Safety glasses were worn, and the spring stop was removed with needle nose pliers... still sketchy though.

Those cable buckles are all over in industry, holding up duct, lights, equipment, etc. very handy little things.
