    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Pic of the week game

Happy Friday Morning, GSR! Let's review and vote...

First the theme by trevor:

...sunset or after dinner evening ride in your neighborhood.

Out in the neighborhood!

And more characters.

That should be all. Another good turnout this week. Thanks everyone!

As always, if anything is amiss, please let us know.

like viewing all the pics this week, wether the pic conveyed evening or not.
I do enjoy this endeavor. Glad we do it.

Trev: like the pose and scene and lighting.
SteveM: like the way the low sun is shining thru and on the rims.
rich: nice scene, makes me feel like I do when stop on bike to view a scene. Great sunset shot.
burque: great scene, and the scene fills lots of the frame, nice evening sun glow. Great time of day for that scene, and nice pose.

vote for Mr Roger burque.

Voting for Rich82GS750TZ this week.

Best of all the pics in regards to seeing and capturing the sunset.

Should have more than just my vote IMHO

Good morning all. This was a fun set of pictures.
The count...
Rich- 3
Dorkburger- 3
Baatfam- 2
Burque- 2
Kerrfunk- 1
Steve Murdoch- 1
Redman- 1

If anyone wants to recheck the count and find another vote for Rich, go for it.. (apparently there's no wink emoji on here)

Thanks Glen, for doing the tally today.

After careful reviewing both photos, I am going to vote for Rich.
It's a close call, but the low perspective, and the fact that he is in the photo, really works for me.

Rich, what's next?

And a quick question for Bob. What is the ring inside the front wheel of the drag bike for?
To ensure the front wheel trips the timing lights.

Thanks Bob. I guess one certainly wouldn't want to trip the timing lights with any other part of the bike and lose some ET....

Thanks all! Getting harder to come up with new themes. Time to think outside the box. I’ll call the theme Unconventional. Something on your bike that works, but maybe shouldn’t. Or something adapted to work on your bike that wasn’t originally intended for your bike. It ain’t stupid if it works, right? In my sample pic, I used a BB from a shotgun shell to replace the ball bearing in my kill switch.
