A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Oh darn....Um, I mean, thanks....Yes thanks! ;);)

I'll be back in a bit with a new theme....:)

And I want to know how Justin made the summation look so nice.:D

OK....This week's theme is something we've probably done before, but here it is.

"Roadside or Country Art"

I left my house this morning to look for some County Art. I was thinking about where the best place would be to find the art.... I know, WEST VIRGINIA!
It didn't take to long to find this County/Hillbilly Art, probably more on the Hillbilly side. I'll use this photo for now...

I found some beautiful County Art, but I couldn't get a picture of it. I drove by it twice. When I stopped to get the picture, it appeared a lady was going into the house to possibly get her SHOTGUN!
I didn't stick around to find out! I'll try to go back later in the week to get the picture.

That's very cool, Roger.
Just curious, do you remember what the business was in the background? Restaurant?

Thanks, Steve. There were a few sculptures on that corner. Two others were modeled after transformers, all made of car and motorcycle parts it seems.

That business is now a gold and silver exchange or something to that effect. Previously (many years ago) yes, I think it was a diner

Been gone this week, so didnt get out on ride to some art work that is more "country"

so looking thru photos for what I can find.

Here is some roadside art.

THere is the road, and there is the art (the bird thing).
ANd, hey, there is the "no u-turn" sign that some of you may have heard about.
THe art work sculpture isnt all that promenent in the photo, I may keep looking. . . . .

Happy Friday, GSR! Let's review our photos and vote

First the theme of the week....

"Roadside or Country Art"

And that is all of them. Some really fun photos this week, thanks everyone for playing.

As always, if anything is amiss, please let us know. And don't forget to vote.

I must admit, I was a little confused about the subject. Roadside art or country art, which one is it?
I went with country art... that was roadside.
My vote goes to Baatfam. (country art)

Voting for Trevor. Is it Art? I don't know. But I freakin' love that 750E. and compositionally, I just think it works.
