A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

This gravel road is by the Pittsburgh Airport.
I have to ride down it about a 1/4 mile to get to my favorite plane watching spot.
The jets come in right over your head!
It's loud and spectacular!
So far no one has chased my out of there...

Not gravel, but country....For the five minutes I stopped on a little bridge for the photo, two people stopped to ask if all was OK. Country stuff....LOL...

Took this with my new Lumix 9mm f/1.7 lens...(mu4/3)

Good to hear Bob, caring folks checking on us bikers. Years ago 99% would have done it, today hopefully half of them will.

Somewhere southern Indiania (BC this year).

Going along, GPS showed an intersection that I could turn and go on bridge over river, then I past an intersection that wasnt on the GPS, then I come to the intersection on GPS, and the road looks abandoned, but I go that way anyway and find the road abruptly ends at the river. SO turn around,,,,, and stopped and posed this pic.

Road is paved yet, but unmaintained with weeds right up to edge and gravel and dirt washed over the road in places.

PS: I will admit to the photo being altered, but only to obscure view of license plate number.

650 Skull gets my vote this week. A nice long road in the country.

After a some thought, my picture doesn't really fit the category... A gravel road yes, a country road, not so much. Sorry about that...

I'm voting for marvincs his bike is at home on those rd's., "I" always hated riding st. bikes on dirt or gravel, it's just not me.

When the pavement stops.........so does my motorcycle. :) It is a rule I violate rarely and only when there there is little or no choice.

Vote for Redman and the Southern Indiana hardtop,

Thanks for the compilation Mr Justin Jedz.
(I have yet to figure out the multi quote since new forum package.) (But I see you handled it elsewize.)

Norm, I liked your story and the pic.
(And NOT just because then I dont feel so bad about leading us into some of them gravel roads in southern Indiania. We shoulda stopped for pics then.)

Ill vote for Bob baatfam look down the side of bike and down the road with other foreground interesting elements. Yah, that is a country road, no markings, narrow, grass shoulder if any shoulder.
