A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Pic of the week game

Been caught in the rain many times, but no camera. Eli gets the vote today. Reminds me of bringing SuzieQ home in 2020 from southern cal. Jan 15

I have ridden hundreds of miles in the rain and through a couple of epic Thunderstorms but no pics. Voting for Eli69 Gas and Go pic.

Many worthy entries this week. But I have to give it to dorkburger. The limp, dangling turn signal stalk and cracked lens just add to an already miserable scene.

Vote for Dpep "under a federally provided Interstate Highway motorcycle rain shelter."

Been there. Thanks, Uncle Sam. :beguiled:

, , , ,
What a great guy that Tim is. "Sure Dave, I'll ride you motorcycle in the rain to Michigan"!
.

Yes, Was great of Tim.
Steve Steve got me and my bike to Indy (Brian's house). Tim rode my bike from Indy to his house NW Indiania, two hours from my house. (My wife meet us there with van/trailer.)

Ok, back to photo contest.

I like many of the pics. Seeing the rain when stopped somewhere seeking shelter (I myself look for bank drive-up awnings or church entry canopys.). Seeing rain drops on bike or faceshield or windshield . Seeing grime on bike (Dork).

VOting for Bob baatfam, I like the view that shows the water drops on handlebars, and warter drops on the bike. Makes me thing it had been raining a lot. Initailly I thought the stuff in background was a distraction, but after a while the water drops on handlebars made the picture, especailly for the theme.

Living in the PNW rain is part of the ride sometimes. That’s why all my gear is WP for fall thru spring riding. But to be honest I do look at the weather more often these days.

Okay folks, let's tally up the votes.

With ONE vote Depep, Storm64

With TWO votes Redman, Rich

With THREE votes The Dorkburger

And a tie with FOUR votes Baatfam and Eli

So there you have it a tie for the win. How about we wait until 12:00 noon eastern time. Maybe we can get someone to break the tie by then...

Well now....Thanks for the votes....:)
And thanks for doing the tally today, Norm! (I've been practicing sleeping late...Which does take practice...)

I'll break the tie and throw in a vote for Baatfam"s pic.
And thank you Roger for, the tie breaker....

Back in a bit with a new theme....;)

We all have a favorite local road, don't we?
Something fun, familiar, and close to home, that we can hit if we don't have much time.
Maybe on the commute home from work, or when we need a test ride after some wrenching.

So that's the theme for this week: "Your Favorite Local Road" (With a sign, if possible...:))

I love that pic Trevor. Would love to ride there someday. but the theme is "Your Favorite Local Road". Just sayin'. ;)

Well, in Trevor's defense.
When you ride 20,000+ miles a year, and you frequent the Moab area often.
It might as well be a favorite local road...

But yeah, there got to be a favorite road that is closer to home living in the PNW.

Oh shlt.....lol you guys are totally right...I had a brain fart on the one....And Norm you are funny....although I did ride that road twice in 3 months...:glee:

I'll pic something else.
