A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Pic of the week game

All good but simple for me this week. Voting for KiwiAlfa156 has got dibbs on the happiest, most enjoyable ride, And shows it well in picture.

Looks good to me, Dave.
And thanks for doing it.

Excellent job Dave, I like how you put a brief caption above the picture...

Thanks. Has been some time since I was up and around and available tht early to do the summary.
I did hesitate some , while pondering if to include some of the posters comment or not.
Generally, my idea is that the pic should stand alone - whatever the picture itself conveys to the viewer should then be compared to the theme/subject - but, hey, this aint no art exhibit.
And gustov pic really needed to have the comment included.

Many Intersting photos and situations and stories.
I have three or so that I really like the best, each for various different reasons.
But the tie breaker I use is the theme, and how well the picture itself coveyed the theme without explanation: going for ride to do some other activity too.

THe smiles, and happyness, and commradery of Kiwi pic is very appealing.

I'll vote for Rich82
Picture looks like they went for a ride, and part of the ride was to purposly stop and pose for a picture.
I can just imagine, maybe, Rich stops and then is setting up camera/phone, maybe small tripod, maybe propped up on a rock and a stick or something, and maybe son say "oh, this again, Dad being Dad" and moves his bike into similar pose, or maybe Rich had pointed when he stopped and son knew what that meant.
Seeing the picture, I immeadiatly imagine all that.

And I've been learning to sleep later...LOL...

I agree, a good photo should tell the story without explanation. But this time I liked having them still there.
Your theme was an open ended statement, and I found the answers to be quite fun. ;)

Dam, you guys really opened up the floodgates and summitted some deep pictures.
However I'm not going to hold anything back and cast my vote for Baatfam!.

Hope my play on these Dam words worked out.

FYI the TT is a stunner.

I gotta say KiwiAlfa’s picture just says fun to me and that’s what riding is all about me thinks.

Kiwialpha's shot captures the joy that makes this crazy, uncomfortable hobby of ours worth it all.

Good Morning GSR! Let's tall up the votes....

With one vote, Rich82GS750TZ
With three votes, Baatfam
With four votes, Gustovh
And with five votes for the win, KiwiAlfa156 (Darryl?)

Nicely played, KA....What's up next?

Does anybody else wait until the new theme is posted before heading out for their Saturday ride? No? Just me, then? OK.
Pretty sure it’s tomorrow already in New Zealand. What’s the hold up?

Just kidding Folks. It’s headed to 60 F. Gotta get out and back before the rain comes.
