So, after getting my bike ripped apart tonight to clean the carbs, I began to notice that my airbox is junk. The rubber parts are all ripped up and dry rotted. The plastic parts are cracked and broken. I don't imagine any amount of weather stripping will fix the issues that this box has.
So I bit the bullet and ordered up some pod filters for the bike. I've worked with pods on my other bike before, and I know they can be an absolute beast to get tuned correctly.
So I'm going to be running the pod filters on the bike, but for now I'll be sticking with the stock exhaust pipes. I really don't want to spend a couple hundred bucks for a pipe right now...I've already got too much money into this thing in the last two months!!
So, with that said, does anyone have any suggestions for WHAT SIZE JETS to START tuning with??
I know that for pods and a pipe I'd be looking at 127.5s to start with, then moving up or down from there. But with just the pods, am I going to want to jump that far up in size, or would I be better off just getting some 125s and trying it from there??
Any suggestions would be helpful!!!
Thanks.
Jeff
