All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

A Taste of Africa.

I give The Allenton Hippo

Sculpture of the 120,000 year old skeleton discovered in the UK in the 1890s. The original is housed in the Derby Museum.

And for the next challenge I have the Rolls Royce Aerospace test facility.

So I'll accpet either aerospace engineering or Rolls Royce as the tag.

Now thats cool. Also a very interesting link that mentions other typically African animals remains found there as well. I really wanted to be an archeologist as a youngster and ancient creatures still pique my interest. Our Sandia mountains that stand over ten thousand feet above sea level have fossilized sea creatures in some areas. Just fascinating stuff.

You know how it is, Rick. New toy, gotta play......
Thanks for not discounting the tag since it wasn't a GS:)

How could I? I've used my FZ6 and Cavalcade for tags.

Just before sundown, I found an Aerospace place. I thought for sure I'd find one in the science and technology park outside the Air Force base but nope.

Anyway, this one is located by the Albuquerque International Airport, South of the runway.

This should be a easy one for me to find. Living in the Rust Belt, Youngstown Ohio USA, there's a lot of blight to be found.

The tag of the multi color house. I could have got that one easy, but I was afraid to stop and take the picture in fear of getting shot at!!

Cyrano, I always like seeing your motorcycle, keep posting. 👍

Riding in the city is always a treat...here's a computerized sign that I'm not sure was fully functional. If acceptable we'll move on to another city tag item....

Next tag is graffiti as seen on dumpster....or a foliage season tree turning from green to a bright color.

Sorry Lurch, while that sign does appear to have some digital malfunction, the letters are still lighted. Surely burnt out neon letters aren't a rarity these days. I gotta say close but try again.

"short circuited signage" is what you asked for?? I guess I didn't read the fine print below pic...."lighted sign with letters out". Now don't get too fussy! We don't have many people playing the game as it is.

We actually dont have a whole lot of neon signs left in NJ, most being replaced by the translucent backlighted plastic type. When I drove cross county years ago, I was surprised to see so much neon signage still in use in small town USA. Neon signs are cool.

This one is a gem though, but not tag eligible, unless I go back. I took it a month plus ago.

Mmmmm, tasty breakfast this morning.....

I totally thought I had deleted that short circuit bit before it posted. Going back and forth from my phone to the desktop has it's disadvantages. Sometimes I'll type part of a post on one device, then switch over using the auto saved text and continue the post. No trickery or fussyness intended, please carry on with your tag.

That's a great shot, man. I thought about using a sign that says something unintended because letters are out, but I didn't want to be confusing. So much for that.......
