    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Just wanted to send out a reminder that if you want your rally listed on the homepage of The GSResources, please let me know. If you are looking to get more exposure for your event, be sure to email or DM the details to Frank (administrator). I will 'stick' your forum thread as well.

There is no longer a restriction to only annual rides. As long as your ride is a sure bet then I'll list it...

Please note that you may list all GS related events in the forum calendar.

    One final suggestion...
When creating a thread for a new ride, please continue to update the first article in the thread with the latest ride information. This saves people from having to wade through pages of posts for the updated information.

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Believe it or not, I've already had inquiries, so if you are also one of those folks who has to plan WAY WAY WAAAAYYY ahead, here's the vital info you will need.

The 2026 edition of the Brown County, Indiana GS Rally will be:

Thursday June 11, 2026

through

Sunday June 14, 2026

Same place, the palatial Rosemount in bucolic Bedford, Indiana.

Please do NOT pester the Rosemount or the manager Jay -- I'll put together the rooming list when the time grows nigh.

This is the weekend BEFORE Father's Day.

Oh.....

Now I need to get a 2026 calandar
(you know, the paper thing with a page for each month, squares for each day....)

Calendar??? That is one of those things where every day's appointment is "No Work". :-\\\ :dancing:

.

I've got it down on the calendar, but now with a baby in the mix any weekends away from the family are gonna be tenuous for a bit. But I feel predisposed to go, as I am back in the Suzuki fold these days.

Did you pull the plug? YouTube has been trying to show me all kinds of retirement planning stuff. I think this might be the first time I've ever had an ambition.

Obviously, I'm in for the rally....

Count me in, of course. Mary will likely join, either on the bike or in a Camaro.

No, still "plugged in". :(

Not sure how much longer, but it won't be much longer.

My wife, Amy, decided she wanted to attend this year. Not ride, but attend. Y'all be nice, ya hear!;)

To quote my old Buddy Jeff when asked if there was ever any trouble at our rallys "We are about as intimidating as a middle school marching band".

Can't wait to see Amy again, Bob! It's been a minute!

I also may be bringing a guest!
My brother Jim from Colorado is traveling east to Ohio to visit family and do some riding.
He's been hearing me tell him about the rally for years. He's excited about coming.

(Don't worry, you don't have to be as nice to him!) Haha

Count me in. I don't think my Arizona buddy Dave will be coming but my wife might if I tell her other women will be there.

My attendance is doubtful this year. The wife is not doing so good so far this year.
Nobody wants to ride with me anymore anyway, since I went "pirate", LOL.

Bummer. Unfortunately, the BC Rally is not in the cards for me this year. I have an underling at work who is having to have surgery May 15. My wife went through something similar, so I know the drs. will tell her she'll be off work for 4-6 week. Even if she's back after 3 weeks, that only gives me a few days to ger her back up to speed and she won't be 100%. I've got to do my work and hers while she's out. I'll miss you all, and look forward to next year. I may think about doing Jedz's Vermont thing in the fall If I can work it out.

I'd like to do that Jedz Green Mountain thing too.
My problem is I'm usually out of vacation time by then.
However, this year I might have some extra time in the bank.
We'll see how it goes...

I keep dabbling in the "pirate" world (aka laid back cruiser with poor cornering clearance) myself. I've just really slowed my roll since starting a family, doubly so with another kiddo now. I'll more than likely be astride another Bandit 1200 this year but my pace will be leisurely. I barely have time to ride at all so I'm quite rusty anyways.
