Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

I could not resist this bike it. I have wanted a sport bike. And a friend decided to sell his. It is all stock 06 GSXR 750 a little over 11,000 miles with a Yoshi slip on with a very nice custom paint job. It is a blast to ride. I already lowered the front 1.5" and moved the clip on handle bars to the top of the triple tree. What a difference in comfort. I have some lowering links ordered to lower the rear 3" so my wifey will be able to ride this bike. Eventually I will put a full exhaust on it and reflash the ECU. And an airshifter.
she is a sexy bike.

Egad it's a sportbike explosion on GSR. You, Jedz and myself have recently aquired them.

image.jpgA pic from today's little ride my son and I went for a short ride down by the beach.
Jr. rode the yellow GS and I rode the gixxer for its first ride after lowering the rear 3"

And how did you like the Gixxer?

So far it is ok. I really have not got into it yet. I want to get used to it first. I don't want to go sliding it down the road. It has more power than I was expecting from a little 750. And it is much more comfortable than I thought it would be espically since I lowered the front end and put the handle bars on top of the triple tree. It moved the bars about 2" up so I don't have to reach so far.

That 1150 is way cooler!

I have 2 1150's now so I don't need another. I wanted a bike small and light enough for my wife to ride and I could have some fun on also. I have been thinking about adding a super moto bike to my collection also.

Good choice John, 750 power in a 600 frame. They still have the zookie stator-R/R curse though.

I hear you. I'm looking at various smaller bikes for daily commuting.

The crampedish riding position was my concern.
The 2" bar relocation must make a huge difference.

Very nice 750. I had a 2000 model and it was enough power (130hp) for me. With each year, they kept getting lighter and more powerful so I imagine yours is sweet!

The riding position takes some getting use to; my knees would occasionally drop down to get circulation to my legs. Enjoy!

EDIT: Those slip-ons have pointed ends...:eek::eek:
Frame Sliders: :clap::clap::clap:

Congrats on the Gixxer! Been there and did that... It was a smaller bike but too cramped for practical purposes (IMHO). I sold mine and got a 2010 Hyosung GT250 for commuting and adventure exploring... Have to say it but I'm having more fun on the little Korean bike then the Suzuki sport...

But hey Congrats and enjoy!

I kept mine at stock height...it changes original intent/design. The bikes are already engineered to handle racing standards. Tweeking it seems to interrupt the traction but only those who race or know their bikes will argue. Ride safe!

I had to lower it for her so both feet can touch the ground at the same time. She is only 5'1"
I am putting a Two Brothers full exhaust and air shifter on it this weekend and will be ordering the PC-5 next week. It will need a set of sprockets and a chain in the near future but i will hold off on that until I know if I am going to extend thr wheel base some.

Another suggestion would be to shave the seat...just an option. Oh man, possibly extend the swingarm?//oh boy! Now you're really messin' with the dynamics of the bike! :highly_amused::highly_amused::highly_amused:

Sorry...I sound like a meddler with my opinions. My time/memory on another forum has planted this feedback. I'm scarred. :black_eyed:

Extended swingarm, air shifter? Is the little lady going dragracing?

No, maybe, well I might race it a few times in street et then I can stop racing my yellow GS. I just like all my bikes ready to drag race.
