I'm sure there's a sticky for this but it's been a while since I've been on the forum as I've been building a cx500. I have a 1980 gs750l I did a few years back and since I'll have another bike to ride I'd like to start this build. The motor runs great with less than 8000 miles on it. I've put around 3000 on it. I know the carbs could probably be rebuilt and synced but they actually run great. I put a hotter plug in them and I couldn't be happier with the color. Either way I'd be doing a carb rebuild. I'm probably going to go hard tail. Where should I start with this to make sure everything is in good working order before I build it? Thanks. Also I have been kicking around the idea of doing two carbs with split manifolds. A guy (murray) builds carb setups for CX500's so I'm sure he could handle this.
