All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

The hand off happened Saturday evening in the Parking lot of The Rosemount Motel AKA Indiana Rally home base. Don had just rolled in with a new Red 2014 V Strom. There is a very long story behind that..... But Stator is in good hands and after touring Florida for a couple of weeks, he will accompany Don to West Virginia where he will be handed off again.

That bear sure looks happy.

I would like to bring up Stator's loot. Booty.

In time is loot could become sizeable. So I propose as a general rule (Kinda like Geocaching) that if you want (Covet) something take it. But it should be replaced by something else.

How very American of you  ;)

i think stators surplus booty should be sent home for his trophy cabinet
one day he might make it back to the land of the long white cloud

Dale has seen enough neurologists. Thanks but no thanks. ;)

Which reminds me, I need to pick up some more crackers. :)

You're crackers? Then it's off to the psychologist for you

I'm just killing myself here

I think his booty is best sampled by his hosts as he makes his way around(as Highway glider suggested), else he'll need a trailer to haul it. Besides, it's a nice way to spread a taste of culture from regional loons to loons :)

He doesn't need to come back to the start. He can travel as long as hosts are willing, or until he ends up in Franks (or someone's) trophy cabinet. Or perhaps he leaves us at the end of a teddy run somewhere??? No need to plan ahead anyway.

He hasn't made it to SA yet. If he goes everywhere else first, perhaps he could retire at Uncle Stan's. (where his trip was first suggested).

Hi All, I have been playing catch up, as I have been a bit scarce of late, due to life getting in the way.
Hence I have not had any chance to update the travel map, could someone please PM me Stator's route and stops with dates since arriving in the US so I can bring the map up to date.
I will take what I can from the posts, but would just like to be sure I don't miss anyone.

Stator was happy to join the crowd at the Story Inn breakfast on Saturday.

Afterwards he hung around outside the front door exchanging pleasantries with the riders as they filed out.

Here he is filling in Norm (Storm 64) in on some route details during a stop at the Gatesville Country Store on our after breakfast ride.
