All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Thanks Larry and Pete, I appreciate the kind comments.
Yesterday was spent putting on her make up, will try get some pics up tonight.
I was very disappointed in the decal set, and it was a constant battle and a test of patience to try and get it to look half decent, and not like it was drawn on by a kid with a box of crayons... grrrrrrrr.
I think the set has been on the shelf for the last 30 years, and a lot of the colour came off and stuck to the backing sheet, lines were not straight or gaps equal, a few of the pieces did not fit the tank well either, so lots of time spent with the Stanley knife trimming and trying to correct the poor quality, to get some sort of semblance of an acceptable finish........ not happy.
However, that said, I have to extend my heartfelt gratitude and thanks to Tatu for getting them for me, top guy.

Remind me via PM who the supplier is, they were the same guys that supplied before. Did you get any photos? I will get in touch and chase them.

That's a bugger Stan, could be a one off failed set too I guess but it's a shame when you put that much effort in and the materials let you down.

Just wanted to let everyone know, Jennifer, Stan's bike, is in good hands. She's owned by Julie's son Galvin.

Good news indeed. A bike is but a small part of a person, but I hope the memories and stories behind the bike stay with it.

Sweet bikes and beautiful woman. Nice.

So about 2 years ago i bought a GS1000G in a bad state of disrepair. Turns out...it's Jennifer.

Agreed. It'd be great to see it out and about and on these pages. I seem to recall that the bike ended up with a guy on FB who was on one of the GS pages shortly after Stan passed. Then... nothing.

Hello `Guys Im the new owner of Jennifer. Went to look at the bike today. Jennifer will be used as a donor bike as there are issues with the paper work etc.

Welcome to GSR Flightstick. Great news that Jennifer has resurfaced, but it will be a shame if she has to be parted out.

What exactly are the issues with the paperwork? Please let me know. I know someone in the SAPS vehicle clearance dept. who may be able to advise on the way forward.
