A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

    2 GS750 engines

Hello again folks... I've been away for quite a while. :-) Yesterday, 2 orphans followed me home. All I did was give 'em a pat on the head... 2 GS750 engines. chain drive, of course. One has a kicker, and it kicks over as expected. I then jumped the starter, and it spins nicely. This is the...

To follow up... the seller never responded, after a week of poking him. I assume it's gone. It had a RC exhaust, too. and fork brace.

A new addition to the bicycling stable

You --need-- a derailleur hanger fixer. Not hard to make yourself, but alot easier to just buy one. Or ask LBS to ckeck it. it takes 2 minutes. I have 7 bikes, 4 of them needed a tweek. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tXfvW0L3iLM

Any Hodaka Ace 100 fans out there?

Someone from Beverly Hills bought them. Yes, California. His buddy came from upstate NY to pick them up, 4.5 hrs each way. When it was 98 deg here. Now THAT is a good friend ! ( It was all about the VanTech front swingarm forks)

Flat car tire on a bike?

There's a Harley-Chopper-thing running around town with (looks like) a P235/40-18 rear tire. Maybe wider / lower. Motor sounds "healthy" but he doesn't beat on it. I've seen him lean it to about 45 deg, I was thinking that will soon end badly... But what's the width of the contact patch on a...

A new addition to the bicycling stable

I spent $80 for a super-nice saddle 15 yr ago. Used it twice. Painfull after 20 miles. Got a big mushy saddle on a used bike, free, and I rode from Pittsburg to DC on it twice... without a hiccup. It's now on my Tri Bike. ( Yes, it looks goofy) What works for you may not... will probably...

Wiseco high comp piston questions. 1981 GS850G.

I could not find where they specify lash anywhere on their website, except for the above mentioned VW cams. Did they send documentation that says .006" ?? I'm even more confused now!! I would call them ... web site says they will not answer tech questions via email, you must call. 951.369.5144...
