A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

$6600 (inc. premium) at the Mecum auction.

Always nice to see real world prices

Mecum & Barrett Jackson have always been questionable to me...But that's just me.

I'd like to see also. Just went through Friday's list and did not see it.

Found it on Thursday's sale. Lot #T269.

edit: it is a beauty. Bob, it looks just like yours.

Nicer looking than any 18,000 mi. bike I've seen, really kept well...$6,600 I rekon 2 different folks must have wanted it pretty bad. Would a museum piece normally have 18,000?

Saturday's auction has an '82 Katana 1000 S54.1 is the lot #.

You can find everything by going to Mecum and setting up a free account.

Then, motorcycle auction Las Vegas 2022

$13,200....Wowzer!!!!

I was at this auction 2 years ago and it was very entertaining to walk through all the bikes in the area just before they are brought onto the auction floor.

Might have to go back next year.

That GS1100E was gorgeous. We sometimes forget what 6 grand buys you these days. Not much. Mostly unrestored and with only one owner..that's rare in itself. Nice to see these Suzukis bringing in some premium prices.

Seems like a fair price to me. It is a very nice bike. The Kaws seem to always bring the big money. Though I don't know why.

Did you guys see the 1980 GS750e on Bring a Trailer? It is low mileage and comes with matching side bags... there are 6 days left in the auction. The motorcycle is located in Grand Island New York. Maybe someone could post the link. 👍

Wow...it's my bike! Lol...
What are the predictions? I'm going to say $8000....I might be crazy...lol

I'll tell ya my bike looks pretty good at 64,000kms compared to this bike with 4,000 miles....
