1983 Suzuki GS650GLD

I just bought a 1982 GS650G, will the parts from a 1983 Suzuki GS650GLD fit my bike? In general will parts from any shaft drive 650 fit?

That would depend on what parts you are looking to change. :-k

Virtually all of the engine and drivetrain parts are the same. Frames might be rather similar.
Tank, seat, handlebars and fenders are among the obvious differences.

I'm just looking at engine and drive train mainly. I forgot about the Katana models.

Engine and drivetrain should be identical. The rest, not so much so.
