A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Does anyone know where I could find a template for this mid motor mount? I tried OSS but those are for gsxr/gs mounts.
I would like to make it and have it ready for the swap.
I found a site that sells the mounts, but a bit pricey @$35, and I have 1/4" T6 aluminum that I would like to make the mount out of.

Depends how much time it's going to save you down the road messing around and working it out.
Not sure I would use T6 either. Depends how much flex that mount is subjected to I guess.

Out of interest is that the only mount that you have to mess with or are there other frame mods needed?

From what i have read that is the only problem mount. And some have said that they just run without it. Basically just a bolt in:D

bandits dont have those mounts...
make a template out of cardboard and make them or pay the 35.00.
simple huh?:D

Ya, but if someone has these mounts or knows if there is a place to find a template that would better.
Last I checked my bike wasnt a bandit:-k

Ive done this swap a few times & have always found the best way is to bolt the motor in then spend an hour making up mounts to suit as that way you are not relying on someone else getting it right, i usually use 10mm ally or 6mm stainless for the bottom mid mount

RE- bandits as they were mentioned above as far as i can figure its only the US bikes that dont use the bottom mid mount, all UK & eurorean bikes have it, i have no idea why this is
