Hi, I have a 83 gs750e. I just bought a 85 gs1150 rear rim for my bike and put it on (had to swap out the bearings) everything bolted up but I noticed that the 1150 hub was actually about 1/8 inch narrower than the 750s hub. When I put the rim on there was a small gap that I just closed up by tightning up the axle bolt. everything seems to track straight but when I apply rear brake the bike pulls to the right. (actually its the rear that pulls to the right, you can feel it) I thought no big deal, I'll just put in a spacer to take up the room that I had taken up by tightening up the axle bolt. But now I have given it some thought and I dont know if it will be that easy because of the way the disk brake lines up. Has anyone done this and if so what do you do about the spacing??? Thanks for anyones input..... Helmut
