I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.
Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Returning Visitors
If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.
If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Published specs say that "dry weight" is 799.
Add in a gallon of oil, about 6.6 gallons of fuel and close to a gallon of coolant, and it's 850 pounds, plus any accessories.
I see a few accessories there, so I would put the wet weight at about 875.

I'm not usually a fan of Goldwings or orange but put them together and wow! Very nice!!

Yes--- 800+ lbs -- And only 118 HP to push it too...
Hardly makes it up a hill if the wind is blowing.
But I like the Orange color - and I will be keeping my GS850GL for local commuting and fun riding.
But this year I am planning on 3 weeks of riding out west in the Rockies and I will love the Goldwing for that.
Soon my 1996 GL1500 Pearl Blue will be up for sale if anyone really might be interested in getting a well kept nice Goldwing to add to their stable...
Wait, Goldwings only have 118hp??? Oof It would be a slug then huh? I thought the flat 6 would produce a little more hp. I bet it makes even in torque right?
Still want to try to ride one!!!

I was thinking it's more like 120 hp, but his might have been before the ECM was adjusted.
Yes, they do have an "adequate" amount of torque. Maybe not quite enough to pull a train, but lifting the front wheel is not out of the question.

An entirely different kind of ride..
Sporty for a BIG bike - but designed for long hauls.
Strong enough to pull your arms , but not race bike like...
My invitation stands...come on out and ride one ..I have 3 in my garage right now..
And ONE is for sale ...
