DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

My wife and I spent another afternoon on the bike, maybe 85-90 miles, WV, OH, KY.
This picture was taken at Virginia Park, the tip of WV in the tristate area. The Big Sandy river (behind the photographer's left) which separates WV and KY, flows into the Ohio River (background of the bike. There's a few barges parked right there, lol) (Ohio past the river).

It's a cool idea, but the actual location, shall we say, lacks sparkle.

Sounds like a nice time. Looks sunny and warm there too. The river through town here, Rio Grande, is far different from that one. It's about six inches deep and muddy. Vehicles are restricted from the area near the shore and the threat of wildfire has access very limited.

That's another thing on my summer time bucket list. Meet up with Kerry... Perhaps on my way home from seeing Ed. 👍

Norm,

Are you currently riding? Post pics!

I'm still working on my "T" and shooting for June/July riding.

Got the Trophy out this morning to explore a little more of Eastern Tennessee. Ended up a little further off the beaten path than I normally due. I love living here.

no need to look further than this thread for beautiful bikes and interesting scenery (solar panel arrays and stolen cars etc..)
Some ding dong was sitting in the empty parking lot taking pictures of an old bike.....
haha! If you were taking pictures of yourself there it might be more of a worry...

Went for a run out with my wife Lorraine, had lunch at Langham. Picture is at Carter Bar the England-Scotland border on A68, still cold and windy with salt on some roads 180 miles and big smiles !

What is in Bob's pic is chip n seal (AKA) loose white rock on top of hot tar. Most formerly gravel roads here are the same, not a bad surface but sometimes the gravel comes loose from the tar, usually in a curve............

Years ago on the way to my Aunts place in Pa, I drove my 66 ElCamino thru a fairly fresh section of that. There's probably still tar and stones on the front A arms to this day.

G rated wardrobe malfunction

G rated wardrobe malfunction

I got out early today on the bike to do a couple of errands. By the time I got to Lowes it was time to get rid of some coffee. After taking care of business, I buttoned my pants, but not without a bit of trouble. I walked away, but something wasn't right. I looked down and found my riding pants button buttoned in my jeans buttonhole....

Bike Blessing I went to with some fellow members. I ended up putting over 400 miles on the Harley yesterday!

Crag-Antler led most of the rides. Thanks for showing us how to circumnavigate Conway traffic!!!!

Afterward I hung out and had a "whiskey" and ginger ale with Pillage and caught up... Very nice to see him!

I was able to take the 850 out for a spin today. I did the western Pennsylvania loop. It was warm with scattered thunderstorms. I didn't get hit with any rain, but I rode on some wet roads. I did a little off road riding but nothing to crazy... I love my 850☺

Its great to see all the bikes in this thread and fun being had riding.

I went to knock on the neighbors door today. Lol

The headwind all the way to the border killed my gas mileage. After getring lost in the boonies for a while near Gallup, NM I headed down to El Malpais national monument.

I seem to be very fond of getting away from paved roads and really need to look into getting a dual sport bike again.

And another nice picture I thought I'd add... It had just rained in the area.
