All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Congrats on new section twin fans!

These are 2 strokes with 4 cilinders and at the back is a DUCATI 2 cilinder.

Those 3 bikes are RG500 GAMMA's, right? I always see them priced at over $7,000. Must be rare or something?

Anyways, I'm glad we got a twins section. I'll be sure to post lot's of questions when the time comes :D

First question.
Would any engine part from an RG500 fit on a GS450?

The real question is, will WE be the only ones who come here..... All seven of us!

nice

My first bike was a GT550. Wish I had pics of that one....

Don't MAKE me go get a GS500 to show you all how it's done!!! I built one in Hawaii that we road raced that would out run 600s on the front straight!!! Made it a 565 with a V&H piston kit & put titanium intake valves in it with 35 CR Keihins. Amazing what that little motor will do with some head work! That bike is still running around on Maui today with it's original owner & STILL beating up on sportbikes on Haleakala! Ray.

Man I hope we won't be the only ones, but I'm sure all will pop along at some point :)

Ray, with what I've seen you do on here, I wanna see you do that :D

If you were in Aus I'd get you to rebuild my 450 motor for me, I know it'd be worth it!

Congrats! Well I for one would love a 450 as a fun alternate to the 750. In the mean time I guess I can just ask every question twice so that I can hang out in here.

Awesome section! I haven't been on in a little while since I've been stripping the bike down. Here are a couple pics of it's current state as of last night.

Now comes a couple little fab items for the frame and then paint and start re-assembling. Glad to see this forum for us to share ideas.
