A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Now that is truly a rarity, having 2 1980 Suzuki GS1000G's with Samsonite luggage........

ANd in such great condition.

Lots of Samsonite luggage are all faded to light grey.
I really had to keep after the set I had, with plastic/vinyl protectant.

Saw a little GS yesterday

Saw a little GS yesterday

Unfortunately, didn't have time to get a photograph, but yesterday in the parking lot at Shannon Falls (that's a pic of my buddy Scott leading when it was decidely un-summery) I saw a guy bump-starting a matte-blacked out GS.

I ran over to give him a push. Turned out to be a GS(X)-400. He hadn't heard of the GSR, so I pointed him this direction.

650E

I Was driving, leaving downtown Grand Haven (Rib Fest, yum yum) with wife and fluffy foo foo doggie in passenger side, with passenger window part down for doggie.....

..... I saw a 650E go by, was silver stock paint, with pipe.... probably Ben "huntb", so followed it. Was on a one way street, I was pulling up next to him at a stop light , trying to put passenger side window down to say hello... but window wasn't going down for some reason.

Light changed, and off he went, turned in different direction than we were going.

Wife was crabbing about loud motorcycle (wasn't that loud) and was trying to put the window up.

.

Haha yup! I'll bet that was me. Crazy busy downtown and I didn't even have time to stop for ribs... Bummer!

Saw what I think was a 1000G with hard bags parked at a building near Rt33 & Woodward Road. I think its the same bike I saw at Home Depot about a year ago. I rode by on the cycle later, hoping to get a side by side pic, but it was gone.

Out for a ride tonight and I spotted a 83 gs750e...just like the one I owned new as a teenager. We had a little chat....turns out we had met before.
The bike has a new paint job and looks very nice!
Just another GS in the GS capital of the world.:)

PIZZA RUN

Rode into town to pick u[ pizzas we ordered.

Line of folks at front door waiting to get in for seating (typical of summer Friday or Staurday evening at this place)
so went around back to go in back door (for take out).
There was that silver 650E.
Must be Ben HuntB.
Went inside. Got pizzas. Chattted a while.

It's almost as if that trunk was made for Fricanos pizza!

Spotted this little beauty 850g at my mechanics house yesterday...

Victoria, the GS capital of the World!

Muskegon Bike Time parking lot this afternoon.

Maybe the only full face helmet, besides mine, that I saw today. Saw hundereds and hundreds of bare heads, maybe a few beanies and a few half helmets.

Spotted this baby outside the CTV building in Ottawa, Canada yesterday. Someone's baby that's for sure.

I seem to remember seeing this bike posted before, but I can't be sure.

I saw this guy at the Lowes by my house on Saturday. Anyone on here? It was gone when I came out so I didn`t get to see the owner.

I saw a 78 GS1000e yesterday. It was up by Lake Erie on rt6 coming out of Vermilion(west of Cleveland). It looked nice, we made eye contact and I got in a quick beep before we passed each other. By chance a member on here? I should have turned around to at least say hi.

yesterday at poags hole hillclimb. we took a stroll through the bikes and i counted 4 gs's, all 850's. mostly l's. otherwise it was a sea of unremarkable harleys.

there are a lot of really cool bikes to see here and it's amazing how easy it is to filter the average, run-of-the-mill harlster portley out while perusing.

Really nice.
Was half in sun and half in shade, making good picture difficult.

Looked around for owner a bit.
