A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Would like to do it to a Suzi maybe a dr650. KTM is nice but out of my reach.

No, I traded bikes, and traded again, then today traded once again for this one. I like it, fast as snot and handles really nice, weighs 305 lbs, lots of fun. Easy wheelies and stoppies both.

It came from California, it's tuned for sea level still, so now is the time to act for you coastal guys. Once I jet it for 6,000' it will probably be sold rather quickly to some local hooligan.

If I ride it too much I'll probably end up keeping it. It's that good.

But that would be bad.

To someone on the GSR I'll sell it fairly cheaply.

I like the satin look. I painted my SV650 satin metallic blue and I got a lot of compliments on it.

Nice bike. Looks like a lot of fun. 2nd set of wheels you could hit trails with it too

Oh, I hope you live a long long way away from me Mr. Kent. A set of spoked 21/18s with 606s would be perfect.

The more I explore off road on my KLR, the more I like off road.

Yeah, that's mostly what I do for kicks. I have another set of wheels, it would probably sell easier with dirt tires, but it's still got the huge brake, way overkill.

There is NO WAY I need a 640cc KTM for kicks on the dirt. I'd trade it for a nice tight 400EXC in a heartbeat.

I LOVE my KLR....I grinned like a little kid on Christmas morning the first time I caught air; then I proceeded to go faster and faster, until I completely compressed my (upgraded front and rear) suspension two times in a row. Figured I best slow down before I broke the bike or broke myself.

Having said that, it most certainly isn't a 'dirt' bike like a 400 class KTM or Husky. It has faithfully carried me from SC thru western Canada into AK and back and so many out of the way places in between. I will never sell it. 46,000 miles and counting.

But most important of all: It is THE Zombie Apocalypse survival vehicle. :D
