Auction ends Sunday night. Bidding has been slow but 131 watchers. Admittedly a little more difficult with three bikes. Your buying pool goes down significantly. I have had at least 12-15 contact me asking there was BIN price. I never answer those questions during an auction, just tell them I will listen to offers (I have received one quality offer). I always figure they are just trying to get an idea of reserve. We'll see what happens the last couple of days.

Where was the international buyer from Russ? There would be a tidy profit for somebody buying from over here I reckon and we seem to be getting loads of ex US bikes at the moment.

Well a gentleman never kisses and tells all the details. I'll say that I made between $1200-1500 after all is said and done. Would I do it again? Of course. I wish I would have made more on a cash outlay that big but that's part of the game. Sometimes you win (sometimes bigger than others), sometimes you lose (doesn't happen very often but it does happen), and sometimes you just break even. On this particular deal the winning bidder had a maximum bid of $12500. I just needed someone to bid against him. I had a guy contact me after and say that he just didn't wake up (auction ended at 4am his time) and if buyer didn't come through he could offer me $11K. I wish he would have gotten up!

Switzerland. The classic scene is so much bigger in Europe (especially UK) and the exchange rate definitely favors you guys right now.

That seems like an awesome deal for the buyer, too bad you didn't get someone to push him a little.

Oh I am sure that will happen at some point. Mostly I just wanted the garage space and figured if I could move them all in one shot then I would accept a little less. Plus I needed the capitol for the next deal.

I think the re5's will really start to move up quite a bit here in the next couple of years.
