If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

More to follow....

Allot of great entries this week. It boiled down to contrast & definition. I was just drawn to Dave's so Redman for me this week. The stickers represent a year on the road and the texture of the plate on the license plate made it very tactile in my mind. Loved it.

Made a "short list", and it is not all that short.
Steve, Dk'bgr, Agemax, Jedz, baatfam, Kr'funk.

Spyder too. Good close up focus, and good lighting in a tight space.

Keerfunks is a stark detail. And implys past actions and the impending occurrence.

I have several picture like Steve's of my carb parts.
Oh, wait, those pics I have are the pictures Steve gave me.

Bob baatfam with great use of sharp focus on the main element of the pic (tach face) and soft focus on other items in foreground to give depth and add familiarity and interest.

THe details of the other pics kept my interest, as a good photo, and for the subject matter.

Vote for Dorkburger for the arrangement of the parts, the lighting, the exposure and the background of the dark wood table top. THe arrangement of the parts was artistic yet "exploded view" of one side and the other. The background really set the picture apart.

Dave, I have a short list, too.

In order of posting, I also love the composition and background of dorkburger's caliper.
Rich's black-and-white closeup of the block is simple and without distraction.
Trevor's composition has plenty of distraction but makes a great scene with a number of stories.
Redman's closeup of the license plate stickers -- I love the focus and the stack of stickers!

After a lot of going back and looking and thinking, I'm voting for Trevor.

Kerrfunk for me because of its importance. His was the kind of detail that could seriously affect your ride, your health, or your life.
...

I've got to go with Jedz this week. Good clean focus, and a lot of detail there. Was a tough call though. Many great shots, of fine detail. Honorable mention for Kerrfunk, as I have almost that exact same shot from last spring.

Impressive images by Burque, BigT, and Agemax but the focus on a clear, single, story telling detail to my eye seems best done by Kerrfunk

Trevor's shot just has me intrigued and I keep going back to it for some reason. Thought the monogrammed pocket knife was a nice touch.

I have to go with BigT this week because I can just see a WTF moment on his face the first time he pulled that cover off.

I'm voting for Agemax! Who polishes the inside of their engine cases? Very nice🙂
