Deliberate anti-social activity including personal insults, profanity, pornography, racism, threats and purposely inflammatory posts may result in suspension of forum access or possibly a permanent ban from GSR.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Pic of the week game

Congratulations Cowboy, and happy birthday. The big 5-0, it only gets better from here! 👍

I was cruising home on a hot summer evening in July. In the distance I could see fireworks. I kept getting closer and closer till I found the perfect view. I was just in time for the grand finally. 🌞

Well, happy birthday, Scott. Guess you won't be riding today, after 51 spankings and all. Assuming you got the "one to grow on".

Thank you all. No, no birthday spankings this year though Charmayne and I had our traditional frosting war which, I dare say, she cheated this year. I started this several years ago as a joke and it has grown into a tradition for everyone's birthday. The idea is the frosting is taken from the cake as we are eating it much like when the bride/groom feed each other at the reception. Unfortunately, she was still frosting my cake when she walked into my office and smeared it on my face while I was ordering dinner last night from Buffalo Wild Wings. Of course, I paid her back later in the evening

This is from her birthday 3 years ago.

This picture was taken on the first night on the road to Sandy's ice cube rally. 1006 miles there and 620 back the short way.

One of my favorite pics from last year was of this wall without the bike. It was after some rain, and there was some nice reflection play. I figured adding the bike would be cool.
I don't love it, but in the spirit of using current pics, I'm going with it.

Something of a different situation at a somewhat familiar location, last night.

This is from my first rally put on by Renobruce at Yosemite. On the way home and after a 1,000km. (630 mile) day, sleeping in a tent for a week and consuming a couple too many beers at Bruce's the night before a comfy warm bed sure was going to feel good ....what a wuss. Then I'll be ready for a nice leisurely 250 mile day through the mountains and home.
