A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I don't know how you guys all get your bikes to stick to the wall like that, any time I try it, my bike slides down.

Somebody traded that in on a Harley?
Knees or hips?

Knees & Weight. Time for a change. The Gl1800 is getting to heavy and I'm getting older. This is 350 lbs lighter. My long arms and legs dont fit it properly. Its a awesome bike. When I worked at the dealership I always wanted to go out west on a wing. 5500 miles and lots of memories later, goal met. Its going up for sale. Ive owned 3 900 Triumph Sprints for almost 20 years. Still my everyday driver. Knees are fine racking up miles, on this one. Hate to get rid of it. its like a old pair of jeans you just cant rid of cause there just perfect.Tired of strapping stuff on it everyday though. Ill be selling this one and a spare parts bike. This bike should be versatile, practical, curve and distance loving. Wanted another Tiger 1050, but those are really holding there value. I feel $ per bike you get on this is strong.

Sorry about the sideways pic post.

Looks like the wrong color for a Kawi. I thought they had to be green. Anyway, congrats on the new ride. Bring it to Brown County next June?

The Torque/HP are very close to my 06 Sprint. There are so many models of nice used bikes out there. I just love going out and buying a nice used bike.

I looked at another Tiger 1050 or Sprint GT but the Ergo #'s on this are tough to beat and this one only had 4,000 miles on it. Its got a butt ugly muffler though. Looks as though there are quiet, nice looking muffler options, but this one doesnt need to be noisy. It would hurt my "DB" credit. DB credits are like carbon credits. 1 quiet bike offsets 1 loud bike (that I own). Yes, there are lots of bikes to pick from of all types, many good buys in the fall.
