A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Palmetto Palms don't bear coconuts, and I'm guessing the Windmill Palms don't either. Coconut Palms do (who knew?), they are very tall, have smooth trunks that look like cement, and long palm fronds instead of fan shaped. You gotta watch them suckers, they drop a coconut on your head and you die. I could hear them thumping on the ground sometimes outside my bedroom window. Ouch!

Did you get the word-play on "bear"?

Charlie - bring him down to Kent and we'll show him a good time.

Oh and don't forget to come down yourself!!

Richard and Tatu

I plan on it! See you Wednesday if that's ok. Too late to call today.

back from N.I this evening. Staters been busy chatting it up with the race fans at Armoy. Saw Guy Martin&the Dunlop boys rip the roads on a beautiful Sunny day. Pictures to follow when home. Hope Johnny Drummond post the crash in front of us on the forum, great shot.

Wow Charlie, sounds like the trip of a lifetime for little ol' stator.....maybe you too.

So I've been trying to put some photos up from Charlie and Stators trip to Armoy but because of my total inability to work a computer I haven't managed because photobucket changed and I can't work it out so before I smash the computer, they both had a great time.Johnny

Johnny,

Login to Photobucket:

Click on the new Upload button:

Screen%20Shot%202015-07-28%20at%209.30.23%20AM.png

Which should bring this up:

Select Computer, use pulldown arrow to create a new album:

Create the new album and then drag and drop your images from your computer to Photobucket:

Copy IMG link (i.e the URL) from either the Library/Album layout,

or the individual image sharelinks:

once you have selected and copied the link, paste it back into your post.

If you are trying to do this on your phone, it probably won't work, but let me know if it does (I'm a digital dinosaur)

I went for a quick dive behind the wall when this happened. The tough Kwiwi slept through the whole thing!

I also have to add that Charlie didn't miss anything, when he was~ahem~"sunbathing",it was in the 45 minutes while there was a minor incident that had stopped racing.

Yep Gustovh it was around 24 Degrees C(75 Degrees F) which is about as warm as it gets here in Northern Ireland:cool:.

Yesterday the five of us took 4 trains down to the south east part of England ,while visiting the ancestral town who's name I bare (a bit of let down) and on toCanteberry to visit Londonboards. What a fabulous day! Visited the Catherdral, Robinson's Suzuki, Richard's home and the fabulous collection of Mr Tatu . My appreciation and best wishes go out to Tatu & his wife for their reception & consideration for sharing . You couldn't ask for a friendlier & gracious host to greet and welcome you than Richard. I only wish I could post some pictures to provide a visual of the rich experience of yesterday!
Until I get home! Take care Tatu!

Stator Arrives in Canterbury, England - July 29th 2015

Great to see Charlie arrive off the train with 3 ladies and a bear. I took him back home and showed him my office:

And he took a ride on my powder coated GS1100G frame:

And he met my wife and sister. I'm told he has a penchant for the ladies!!

We are hoping he will come down for a longer visit in a little while after he has had a tour up north.

More Out and About in Canterbury, UK

More Out and About in Canterbury, UK

After meeting my ladies I took Charlie and Stator to the garage to meet my bikes.

Here he is with the GS1150/GSX1100:

y_mQOK3p40iKpB30yQ9eQOmWcsIVqkJPeog5LEY8xsE=w564-h752-no

Then they had a look at my GS1100G bike which is the only one I have on the road at the moment:

Charlie then took Stator for a ride down the road after he worked out where to put his feet on my rearsets:

I then took them both to Robinsons Suzuki which just happens to be at the end of my road:

Where we found a GT750 belonging to our very own Tatu:

Next stop is to pop over to Tatu's place and check out his shop and bikes.

Cool to see Stator and Charlie in the UK. Richard, I have more then once ogled the picture of that 85 1150 seen on your computer monitor. Looks like a sweet GT that Tatu has as well. Enjoy.
