Well, Now I am told it may be a 1398 block. Will have it confirmed next week.

here are some pic's. the wheels are 18" EPM's I think I will sell them and put some stock wheels back on or some gixxer wheels.

What do you think?

You say that is an ES but is that the "stock" ES fairing???
If so, have you ever seen one for sale and do you think it would mount over onto a 1983 1100E???
It really is a sharp looking bike and I really dig the way the fairing setup is.

Interesting thing???

My engine builder told me he has worked on this bike over the years and he had an electrical delay put on it. The owner was going through stater clutches like candy's so they installed a delay devise (msec's) so the engine could get rolling before fire when to it and he hasn't changed a starter clutch in 2 yrs. Problem solved.
My builder runs 8.6's and is building a turbo/methanol injected beast to run in the 7's.

It is a European model I am told. will check the serial number when I get the fairing off. The fairing may be up for sale if the right offer comes in. I think I may like to show the engine and the wiseco block.

NO reason why it won't fit an E model. An es is just an E with a fairing ...isn't it?

Definately an interesting looking bike. Why do you not like the EPM wheels?

I do like them but I have a few other sets of wheels around. I understand they are nice light wheels.

I may just turn it into a sleeper.....stocky looking ....TEENAGE NEW MIKE EATIN MONSTER! Or atleast a "what do you have in that thing" kind of machine.

If anyone see's something they may like shoot me a line....I will be replacing and or changing some of the parts...

Man after looking at that I hate to see it torn apart. It's perfection the way it is. Just needs a good clean and touch up. But then again I am a sport faring kind of guy. I think the tank design on those bikes is made complete with that fairing. Especially with the full body on it like that.

The only thing I would do to that would be to paint it another color and put the badges back on.

It's so sweet katman, your blessed :D

Nice looking bike.....I thought the ES had the large 8" headlight . like the E. This bike has the square one, so a little work would be required to fit it on an '83E.......I recall a guy here with an 83E saying it came with the fittings/mounts to bolt on the fairing....not sure if only the Canadian models have this or not.

Tony.

took it for a grunt the other day....grabed a bit of throttle and she was spining tires ... like that.. scarey maching
