A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I live in Springfield, MA and am wondering if any locals know of any service or someone who would transport my GS1100E to Orlando so I can ride it in to Datona and then bring it back to Springfield after the weekend is over. I dont have the time off to ride it there. If so how much it would cost?

I heard about a site (in fact, I think it was on here), called UShip. Basically eBay for shipping. You enter your info, then people will contact you with estimates. I tried it once to ship my GF's car from Michigan to Colorado, but only got 3 bids, and found another carrier (local) that was about $75-$100 cheaper. The site also has a feedback system similar to eBay. That was another hangup I had, all who contacted my had zero feedback.

Good Luck!!

Like I have already stated

Like I have already stated

I dont have the time off available. I want to have my bike up there but I dont really care to loose my job over it.

tow it

tow it

Any passenger car can tow the weight of a bike. You could always have a small towing hitch put on, there are some one bike towing set ups on ebay for under $200. You might be able to get a hitch and lil setup to tow it for less than the cost of a one time transport fee. Then you could go snag parts bikes, ect...

Their are Co. that specificlly ship bikes to Daytona. I would look for one of them

I tried that...

I tried that...

I haven't found one yet. I have been asking everywhere. If you hear of one please pass on the info.

Used these guys a few years ago to bring a bike I down south up to Ohio.

They only transport motorcycles, and the driver was telling me bike week, sturgis, etc. are their busiest times. I seem to remember it being like $500 bucks door to door, insured, in an enclosed trailer well secured with canyon dancers and tie downs
