A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

  • In order to help others find info on a particular bike, be sure to put the year, make or model of bike that you are asking a question about, in the Topic Title. This will allow people to pass by posts they have no interest in.

what do you think about this one

I am sure it is real nice.
It looks real comfortable.
I do not think I would be very comfortable on it.
Guess I would not know unless I tried it out.

It sounds like the st 1300 is dead. But its motor lives on in this bike.An excellent 200,000 mile motor.

I read in a magazine that those were an abonimation ... therefore they are! :D:D

Personally, im not a fan of high tech cycles....Regarding magazine articles, it seems that there was little love for my beloved 1150es other then it went fast in a straight line...:p in other words even magazines opinions are subjective, though more educated then me....ive ridden only one cycle built in this century:D

It best damn well be a good bike cause aint no average Joe gonna work on it.

If I pay that much for a motorcycle it's going to weigh next to nothing.

Lightness is expensive. Heaviness is not. I don't want any.

If I was to buy a giant touring rig, it would need a two person seat. The HD Street Glide is now their biggest seller, and now stubby windshield are popping up everywhere. My limited experience with stubby windshields includes too much noise and buffeting at my head.

That thing isn't for me. Rather have the whole touring bike. FJ1300 or Concours 14.

Yes, my thoughts exactly.:)

Every time I hear people talking about these big touring rigs, I ask them why not consider the beast of them all. A kiwi I used to ride with before he went back home had a Triumph Rocket III and I've never ridden its like for putting the miles behind you.

Heavy bikes are slow for fat people.

So you're saying you need a light bike cause you make up the difference in body mass? I can get that, I think..
I personally don't like light bikes but I don't want a 1klb plastic barge either. I may have to pick it up someday:eek:.
I like my bikes just like I like my woman, with a little junk in the trunk.
But whatever..

well its unanymous.Noone likes it.To me Honda already has the st 1300, f6 b.Now this.I think it is a direct competition for the roadglide. And the f6 b is for the streetglide.Personally I would take the honda any day.

Weell, It proves once again that Honda is the leader at making overweight, excessively complicated abominations.

Cruiser seating position. Not my thing.

Agreed.

Placing the pegs forward of the seat is dangerous and uncomfortable. I don't have the foggiest idea how this is even legal anywhere, let alone how it's pretty much become the standard in the US.
