All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

170ish miles on the Harley... Trying to make it as comfy as possible. I think raising the seat 2" helped HUGE

Did break the TUX out too!

Is a 66.
He got it as his first car at age 18 in 1969, and has it it since.

Put a larger engine in it in the 70s. And repainted it in the 90s.

.

The GS850 took me out for a ride in the country today. The fields have firmed up.

Still plenty of deep potholes on the dirt roads that jolt the bike, but the Shinko 705 does well for grip.

Got a good ride in today about 335 miles in northern Arkansas. Wow, there are some nice motorcycling roads here.
My Nebraska tires were looking rather smooth after today's ride but still enough tread for one more hard day tomorrow then it will be trailered back home where I have some new shinko 230's ready to spoon on.

To all our riders that get to ride these roads everyday---you guys are some lucky SOB's. I just wish it wasn't 400 miles from my home.

Kids............now go get a towel and dry behind your ears:rolleyes:.

Mom always told me to do that. lol

I had to re-read Redman's post to make sure he didn't write more than one year ('66). It's also a famous Route.

Glad you're enjoying the new ride! If weather cooperates, I may do a VT ride later this week. You game to meet up for a loop? Maybe I'll get a test ride on the new UJM/Harley.

I'm totally booked out till Friday...

When you thinking?

I plan on trying to rack some big miles Sunday if I can.

I'd love to go for a ride... IF THE UPS MAN WOULD SHOW UP! Waiting for the UPS man is like watching paint dry! ☺

I know what you mean. I'd love to be riding now too. Showed up at my last appointment for the day and nobody's home.
Maybe he's a UPS guy!
