Well I saved a few bucks getting some OEM gaskets from bike bandit over the dealer... no way I am going to spend the day replacing the base and head gasket with what they sent me.

The box when it came didnt even look like it would fit them, well I was right.

I sent in my email and pics, and will see how customer support deals with it before I complain to much... but seriously? Who thinks folding a $100+ gasket is a good idea?

i got a stator gasket from them, in to small of a box , but it did not have a crease in it. I used it but shook my head when I got it.
They use to ups every thing I got from them, now it coming from the postal service.

Wow, that sucks. I'd be pi$$ed!

Generally speaking I like BB and use them plenty. They recently ran into a back order situation on some of my parts and shipped a parcial order to me so I didn't have to wait.

My guess is that it wasn't BB that was at fault per say, but the idiot that packed your parts. Of course BB is responsible but I don't think it's their policy to damage parts due to poor packaging.

I trust they will make this right.

I received a large moto-cross gear bag, instead of progressive springs. ?

wow, i've got alot of stuff from them here in the last 2 weeks and never had an issue, that sucks with what happened to the head gasket. im sure they'll make it right.

Whenever you order motorcycle parts or auto parts there is a chance a moron will be packing your product. Few people understand how to pack items for shipping. Shipping companies are also to blame sometime since they show little care in handling packages.

In your case, I would take pictures and return the item for a replacement. You could also write a letter to the president of the company and tell them that inadequate/improper packing reflects poorly on their company.

The guy who used to work in shipping last week?

I ordered a few parts and supplies with a set of gloves last month and the gloves said they shipped in 2-4 days or something like that. I got an email saying the gloves were on backorder and nothing since then so I'm not real happy with their stock indications. I would have placed the order with DK or another MS but BB had better price on the gloves...which they didn't have in stock. Now I had to make it a point to cancel the order if I don't want to get surprise gloves and billing sometime in the future.

Shipping

I just ordered some parts from them last night. Lets see how long and in what shape they arrive. I will update this when I get my parts. Never had a problem in the past.

Overall had good experiences with them, the tire I ordered at the same time came in fine in a separate shipment. TBH the box looks like it is specifically for a helmet. The base gasket I could probably use but the head gasket is totally trashed, if I flattened it out you would see the metal ring is separated from the gasket.

I sent in a return request customer service ticket with 2 pictures attached, I am confident they will make it right but will keep you posted. Good news is I am camping this weekend, then in Haiti for 10 days missing 2 more weekends so had no immediate plans for installing the gaskets.

Although I like dealing with BB because of the prices and great customer service and communication lately it's been taking 2 weeks to get anything I order. Really frustrating.

I don't use them much anymore. I go to babbitsonline or partshark, they have better prices.

partshark is a great place, they let you know whats going on the whole time you have an order with them.

BikeBandit has always been good for getting parts. But they do not communicate very good. I have waited up to 6 weeks for back ordered parts. I would still order from them...

Same exact reason I gave up on them.

Got a reply today, again I ordered this well in advance of when I had time to install it so its not to big a deal as long as they make good on it, and seems they are with little extra effort.

Hello Jared
Thank you for writing in. We are sorry to hear you received this part damaged. Shortly you should receive a return shipping label to your email address. Please print this attachment out and send back the package part. In the mean time a reorder will be placed for another one. Once the item comes here we will make sure to ship this item flat. If there is anything else we can assist you with just call or click!

Delay

Delay

Ordered Saturday night. Received this email today.

"One of the items in your order had to be ordered from an alternate warehouse due to availability. As a result, the item(s) will be delayed 1-4 business days.

The remainder of your order has been processed and will be shipped when the delayed items arrive. Your original quoted shipping cost will not change."

No big deal as I won't get much garage time this weekend. Seems they are trying to keep me informed of what is going on.

I'm not very happy with BB right now. I placed an order on June 14 for an o-ring chain, front and rear sprockets, a rivet tool for the master link, and a windshield. I was told that the chain was backordered. I received a package on June 24, with the sprockets and the rivet tool, but no windshield! When I checked my order status, it showed that the windshield shipped with the same tracking number. After attempting to call, then finally IM'ing with them, I was informed that the windshield shipped separately, and that I should get it tomorrow. Of course, no one bothered to tell me this before. I finally cancelled the chain yesterday, and ordered one through Dennis Kirk that cost me 15 bucks more, but they show right on the item page how many they have in stock. It also shipped to me last night, and I'll have it by Friday. I'm not sure if I want to give BB another chance after this nonsense.

I have had better luck ordering from the local Suzuki dealer.BB is faster but no shipping charges through dealer. You may wait a little longer but overall cost is quite a bit less

ok i just got a shipment from bb and there was 2 of 4 exhaust gaskets not in there, call them up and after 30 minutes on hold i get a hold of a "customer service rep" she tells me they shipped in the same package, i tell her i have the package in my hand and they are not here, so i ask to speak to her supervisor and she tells me after 5 more minutes on hold that she cant speak with me know, so i say when can she, " well sir she is really busy with other customers" gee wonder why. so i ask her when i will get my gaskets, she says the 14th, lmao, ummm maam im in palm springs and your in san diego, thats a 2 hour drive tops. she says well thats the best we can....no more parts from them......
