DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Considering buying an 06 Triumph Sprint. 32 k miles @ $3000. Corbin seat, stock saddlebags and manual. Anyone know anything good or bad about this bike. It's the slow red one. 123 hp., 77 f.t lbs. torque. 462 pounds dry. No pictures yet

what ^^ he said. Looks fantastic. I'd like to have it.

They seem to be a real bargain. My friend has a Speed Triple and loves it. Seems like a really nice bike and makes a good noise. I considered a Spring ST when I was shopping for a sport touring bike. I think it was the lack of gadgets that turned me away. Got a 2009 K1300GT.

A street triple is what I started wanting but I got hooked on liter bikes. Touring is what I really like doing and I hope this one works for that. My fear is that the more sporty riding position will get the best of me. I sure hope not! I'll try it out in a couple of weeks. It doesn't have cruse control, which I would have liked. It seems as though it will be mine Saturday. Let's hope the weather is a bit cooler then, as it's going to be close to 108 today.

Just think about the forced riding position as an incentive to fully explore the benefits of yoga.

There is wisdom in this statement! I've been in physical therapy since March from an over zealous Yoga instructor and my ignorance. I haven't given up on Yoga but my choice of instructors is limited to one. Ti Chi is my next hope.

I have a friend who is a yoga instructor. She's gonna be 70 this year, so her workouts are for people our age with low stress positions.
She talks about some younger instructors who get competitive and over demanding. Sorry you met up with one of those types.
Are you gonna carry an extra stator and valve cover gasket for your Triumph? ;)

I'm sure there is something I'll have to carry. Thx

Looks like a real nice motorcycle Charlie. Them Triumphs are really starting to grow on me. It looks like you can get a good deal on them too. They fit in at GSR rallys too, there were a few at the Brown County Rally👍

Great score Charlie ! I had a Corbin seat on my Kat and man was it comfortable...........

Thanks Guys. I going to pick it up tomorrow if my second test ride goes ok.

Slick looking bike. Front tire looks not so good either.

Agreed on both points. Very nice bike, but that front tire is cabbage. Pants. Double-plus ungood. Roached. Hooped. Dickered. Toast.

It'll feel soooooooooooo nice with fresh rubba front and rear.

And it is amazing how cheap you can pick up a nice used motorcycle. In some ways it's depressing, in other ways it's awesome.

My K1100RS has an vacuum style cruise control. Simple control box and vacuum actuator that connects to the throttle body just like the throttle cable. Works very well. Not sure on about your new Triumph but it might work.

When and where are the first big over night trips?
