DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I picked up this today for longer rides. The bike is amazing, excellent power, ABS and touring capabilities.

Boy, when you say "new" bike, you mean "NEW".

You gonna paint the truck now, so the colors don't clash?

.

It matches the mustang that's not pictured .
Its a 2011 so not exactly new but new to me

Start practicing now.."honest, Officer i'm just not used to the power."
Looks great. Don't know about the bark-busters, can't imagine it will see any off-road duties.

"LEAVE THE PAINT ALONE!!! They painted it that beautiful orange & white for those wonderful University of Tennessee folks

Great looking bike, congratulations. I had a bike headed towards me the other day with the blinkers built in to the bark busters, they were very visible and a great idea.

It wont see any crazy off road trails, it will see the occasional gravel road to a hiking trail or something in Missouri or NW Arkansas. The torque curve is amazing, I'm super happy with it. I will log some miles on it for sure, now I need to sell my GS1000G build , I still plan on keeping old blue though

edit re: the GS 1000G build

I might be back in your area the 1st weekend of Sept. or there abouts, I'll PM you when that time arrives and if you still have it then, I would surely be interested in seeing it and maybe we could work something out.

Otherwise, good luck with the sale. Just don't let any of those cheapskates on CL try to steal it from you.

Sounds good man, hopefully it's sold by then but i would rather it go to a new home from someone here

Nice Triumph, I recall seeing one at work with wire wheels and the guy routinely got it muddy. Is that a XC800 or 1100?

Crikey, the GS rallies are starting to look like Triumph rallies. Lots of British iron (well, mostly Thai aluminum actually) infiltrating the GS crowd.

Sweet ride.....those bags look like the same type they used for the Suzi bandits...but maybe it's me.

It's a tiger 1050 apparently it was evolved from the 955i. The bags do look similar but they are also stamped triumph :D. I'm super happy with the purchase. i need to get a windscreen for my height but then I'm ready to roll

800's come with spokes, maybe the 1200's also? I had a 2007 version of this bike. Very nice bikes. Its a sport bike with great ergo's and with over 6" of travel eat up pot hole laden roads. Get on the Tiger forum for recommended suspension settings. You will be amazed by the difference. I put 998 miles in 1 day coming back from Co. awhile back. Enjoy!!!

Stock windshield. I enjoy wind in my face. Your bags are EOM triumph. Would highly recommend to see what tune is installed and to change the fork oil. Then learn about your suspension. When set up properly, its a super comfy sport touring bike with 6 inches of suspension travel. Bumpy roads are thing of the past with this bike. Highly underrated bikes that can be found at a decent price
